JCC on Stage: The Lion King
Mondays OR Tuesdays, 9/14–12/18; 4:15–5:30 pm
Dive into the magic of theater on stage at The Ark with The Lion King! This class welcomes students of all experience levels, from the seasoned performer to those stepping into the spotlight for the first time. Actors and teaching artists Allie Scherich and Chris Williams will guide children in showcasing their talents on stage while promoting their confidence, connections with friends, and creativity.
The class will culminate in a performance the last week of the session. Extra rehearsals and performance dates will be announced before the session begins.
Inclusive Set Design: The Lion King
Tuesdays, 9/15-12/8
5:15 PM-6:15 PM
For children in grades 2 & up and young adults of all abilities*
Students will explore the basics of set design, from sketching ideas to creating props and backdrops for a live performance.
* Inclusive classes are specifically designed and implemented to ensure individuals with or without disabilities can participate fully. The goal of these classes is to ensure all participants have the opportunity to foster community, learn new skills, and have fun!
